Grant Development is a vital part of building and sustaining Saint Francis Ministries’ work. As we continue to serve children
and families across the nation, it is imperative that Saint Francis has a strong grant development team that can secure funding
from various opportunity types to support our life-changing work. To fulfill Saint Francis’ role as a steward of funds, a Grant
Developer researches grant funding opportunities, provides oversight and guidance of pre- and post-award administration to all relevant parties, ensures compliance with funder terms and conditions, and upholds Saint Francis' policies and procedures. A Grant Developer is responsible for assisting in or performing each task necessary to ensuring completion of the grant and to identify areas where technical assistance is necessary. This position is eligible for remote work.

Exploration Place

Exploration Place seeks a full-time Development Associate to assist with fundraising activities, with a primary focus on the continued growth of our membership program and the maintenance of our donor database. The Development Associate will be part of the museum’s vibrant development team that is at the heart of a project to create a “destination playscape” on the 20-acre riverfront site, aimed at more than doubling annual visitors. Specifically, this position will be responsible for a quickly growing membership program of 6,000 households, that is poised to reach even greater heights. This salaried position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education.  Experience in development is a plus. General work schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.

The Associate Director of the Annual Fund and Stewardship reports to the Director of Development and will focus on implementing a year-round fundraising plan for the Annual Fund, the foundation of the school's fundraising initiatives. The fundraising plan will include goals, strategies, and programming that aim to build and engage our donor base. This person will work to ensure effective administration of annual fund gifts through a stewardship process that includes: acknowledgment letters, recognition of donors, event planning, and the delivery of any necessary reports and communications to appropriate constituents. This position is responsible for the stewardship of the endowed scholarships and positions which includes annual recognition events

Reporting to the Executive Director, the new Chief External Affairs Officer is responsible for overseeing and growing the fund development programs, providing leadership for the volunteer services programs, and developing and executing a robust communication and marketing program to share the mission and vision of JVS to its many constituencies and the greater community. Direct reports to the Chief External Affairs Officer include the Director of Development, the Coordinator of Volunteer Services and the Communications Associate. Additionally, the Chief External Affairs Officer will join the executive leadership team which provides strategic and operational oversight for the agency.
